2. Precision O&M — Dual-Model Cleaning Solution Addresses Industry Challenges


To meet differentiated market demands for O&M, Trinabot offers two flagship products: the "Aurora" wheel-mounted robot and the "Guangyu" tracked PV cleaning robot.


  • The Aurora wheel-mounted PV cleaning robot is designed for medium to large centralized ground stations and distributed commercial & industrial stations. It is especially suitable for harsh environments with high sand and wind or extreme heat. Its core technologies include intelligent posture correction, modular O&M, autonomous decision-making cleaning, and OTA remote differential upgrades.   • The Guangyu tracked robot weighs only 21kg yet achieves a cleaning efficiency of 2,500㎡/hour, covering a 2MW power station daily, providing a lightweight cleaning solution for distributed scenarios.

On the afternoon of June 11, at the Trina Solar booth, Mr. Zhu Changjun, General Manager of Trinabot Robotics, presented the company’s “Integrated Automated Construction and O&M Solution for PV Power Stations.” He highlighted everything from millimeter-level installation accuracy to adaptability in extreme environments, focusing on enhancing full lifecycle value.


Based on the fully upgraded Buildex PV module installation robot, Mr. Zhu analyzed real-world application cases, detailing challenges faced in both common and high-altitude scenarios. He explored innovative designs balancing risk resistance and sustainability, and building flexible, diversified solutions to empower project implementation holistically.


  • In general scenarios, key challenges addressed include the safety design of operating mechanisms, driving safety monitoring, and optimizing vision systems under strong light to reduce positioning deviations caused by high UV exposure.


  • In high-altitude scenarios, targeted optimizations were made to address the effects of pressure and temperature changes on gripping and electrical systems. These include a 2.5x redundancy design in the vacuum adsorption system to overcome low atmospheric pressure, use of low-temperature hardened protective materials to ensure reliability at -20°C, and innovative visual positioning compensation algorithms to eliminate strong UV interference.


These engineering technologies, validated in projects across Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Qinghai, and more, are gradually shaping industry standards.
